I’m screwed. At this range, I couldn’t survive his attack. As I panicked and turned to run—

The faint sparks from [Cumulus Spark] flared up, crackling loudly. Jewelry had finished computing.

I’m saved! I thought, as the mage let out a confused “hm.”

“You’re about to be fried.”

With a triumphant smirk, I taunted the panicked mage.

The flickering sparks erupted into massive friction, and with a crackle-boom, a colossal lightning surge tore through the space.

A blinding flash engulfed my vision as the mage’s scream burned away.
